Now in its fourth year, The Asian Conference on Education & International Development 2017 (ACEID) is held annually in Japan in the spring.
In 2017 ACEID attracted 203 attendees representing 31 countries – a truly international event. This diversity serves as an amazing comparative and contrastive resource.
The majority of ACEID conference attendees are university faculty, with 46.3% holding an academic post. At 29.9% of the total registered delegates, postgraduate and doctoral students make up the next largest group of attendees. The remaining attendees come from the public sector (3.4%), with 20.4% registered as “other”.
ACEID2017 conference attendees were 63.3% female and 36.7% male.
